Suffolk Construction moves ahead on a new apartment development. When Boca Raton, Fla.-based developer Atlantic & Pacific Management broke ground in October 2009 on the 368-unit Cresta Bella Apartments in San Diego’s Rancho Peñasquitos submarket in California, it was a welcome event in an otherwise lackluster multifamily construction market in the southern California region.

The Centro project in Toronto is situated on a high-profile location. Once completed in January 2011, the neighborhood of Scarborough in Toronto will be home to the Centro – a residential development with two, 31-story high-rises with 562 condominiums; 16 two-story, loft-style town houses; an amenity building; and four levels of parking.
