CBGCBG Building Company brings its expertise in multifamily construction to help redevelop and enhance Northeast Washington, D.C.

When CBG Building Company joined the Bryant Street project about a year ago during preconstruction, the firm already had a strong relationship with developer MRP Realty and SK+I Architecture. The team is working together to transform a partially vacant shopping center in Northeast D.C. into a noteworthy four-building community with 487 apartments, 79,257 square feet of retail and entertainment, and 519 parking spaces as part of a 13-acre master plan.  

CoastalCoastal Construction stays ahead of schedule on 4-star hotel in hot Tampa neighborhood.

Coastal Construction is about halfway through building a four-star J.W. Marriott hotel in the Water Street neighborhood of Tampa. The company broke ground during summer 2018 and topped out on the hotel in July 2019, about three weeks ahead of schedule. Central Florida Division President Sean DeMartino credits the work of Baker, the superstructure company, in prefabricating all the structural steel in keeping the project ahead of schedule. Tampa Division President Craig Klingensmith expects to have “heads in beds” by Halloween of 2020.

Luxe Residential is building several upscale apartment buildings in two suburbs of Minneapolis as part of a master development that took two years to be approved.

“There is a housing boom taking place,” Regional Director of Construction Robinson Zamorano says. “The idea is downtown living without the hassles of downtown. You could have the same types of amenities as downtown living. The other thing that is attractive about this area is its minutes from downtown by highways 394 and 100 and 20 minutes from the airport.”
