- Asphalt Technologies Inc. – This company has worked with various industries and government agencies to make use of new products and recycled materials. Its latest advance is the use of recycled concrete for graded aggregate base and rip-rap rubble.
- A Mining Group LLC – This subsidiary mines and delivers washed screenings for asphalt paving mixes, concrete block plants, lime for agricultural use, lime rock for base material in highway projects and aggregates for the concrete and asphalt industries.
- Junction City Mining Co. LLC – With the ability to transport products by truck or railroad, this subsidiary says it is able to meet the needs of any client, while keeping up with industry trends.
- Suwannee American Cement LLC – Since its inception in 2003, the company was among the first of its peers to win the triple certification of ISO 9001,14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Anderson Materials Co. Inc. – “With a large fleet of mixer trucks, Anderson Materials delivers Department of Transportation and ACI-certified concrete redi-mix to a diverse customer base with a variety of needs,” it says. “Our diversification only begins with construction,” ACCI adds.
The company also is actively involved in non-construction businesses, such as land holdings and leasing and forestry.
Community Involvement ACCI is one of the major employers in its area. “We take pride in being a leader in our community,” the company asserts. For instance, it donated the labor and material to construct an eight-lane, 400-meter track for a local high school football stadium. The company has earned its stripes with the surrounding communities, as well. “We also stay very active in many social endeavors that benefit our citizens, such as The United Way, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Columbia Youth Livestock Show,” ACCI says. “We remain proud of our continuing community involvement.”
